Vienna in Austria is a city full of rich cultural history and fame. Many of the worlds greatest musical composers come from this town as well as the famous Professor Sigmund Freud, known for his dream theories. This is why it has become known as the city of dreams to many people. International organizations meet here including OPEC and the United Nations. There are many beautiful landmarks in the historical centre worth visiting, such as castles and beautiful gardens.

Vienna is the capital city of Austria. It is located on the beautiful Danube River which runs through several of its border countries too. About one quarter of the country’s population lives in its capital city. The country’s flag is one of the oldest national flags in the world dating all the way back to the crusades.
This wonderful city has produced many famous composers. Mozart, Strauss, Brahms and Beethoven to name a few. These famous musical composers lived and grew up here or came here to work and study music. They are very much a part of the heart of Vienna.
